Steel Toe came into our rescue program on February 15, 2019. Steel Toe came into our rescue program from the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office along with 27 other horses as a cruelty case. Many of the horses were unhandled prior to the seizure. The court awarded that 14 horses could be returned to the owner. Steel Toei is a Beautiful, Bay, Thoroughbred, Gelding. Steel Toe is estimated to be 5 years of age. Steel Toe is a sweet boy and loves attention but tends to be a bit aloof. Steel Toe was an unhandled Stud when he came into our program. He is now a calm gelding that is halter broke and broke to lead. He needs a family that will spend time with him, gain his trust and start training. He is in good body condition but does need his hooves addressed. He was Infested with internal/external parasites. He is going to make someone a super nice horse with the right amount of time and training. He should be coming available for adoption soon. Update December 2019 Steel Toe is now seeking a forever, loving home to call his own. Steel Toe is ready for a family to start him saddle and give him a job. Steel Toe is a sweet boy but he tends to be a bit aloof! He stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. Steel Toe has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, dental and hoof maintenance. Update August 2021 Steel Toe has returned to our rescue program due to no fault of his own. Steel Toe is a sweet boy and loves attention. He is super smart and has so much potential. We are working with Steel Toe and plan to start him under saddle. He made a lot of progress with his former adopters, and we hope to continue that progress and prepare him for a wonderful family. Steal Toe has been adopted to a wonderful family in Duncan, Oklahoma. Steal Toe is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in his forever, loving home.
